It consists of two main elements:

A strap placed above the ankles
An elastic band that connects the strap to an anchor-type hook attached to the shoelaces

Should be used with closed-toe footwear
Lifts the front part of the foot

Flaccid paralysis
Drop foot (muscle weakness that causes the foot to tilt downward)
