DMB®, approved by EFSA as a novel food, is the active ingredient in TasteCare®. DMB® is extracted from the pulp of a fruit of the species Synsepalum dulcificum, which binds to receptors in the mouth, neutralizing acidity and achieving a taste-transforming effect.
