Pediatric Night Orthosis for Ankle and Foot (AFO)

Made from 4 mm high-density polyethylene, with an anti-slip sole, a foam inner lining and Velcro adjustment straps for better regulation of dorsal flexion. It works like a progressive positional splint and can be used to prevent clubfoot and in situations where there is a need to prevent muscle shortening, especially in the plantar flexor muscles, which tends to happen during periods of long rest.

Indications:
Indicated for situations where there is a need to maintain or increase the angle of dorsal flexion and to control the ankle joint during the night. It prevents plantar flexion by keeping the ankle in a neutral position depending on the patient's situation, passively stretching the plantar fascia and calf muscles during the night.
